Barnsdale Lodge has been featured in the Sunday Telegraph's Fifty of Britain's Cosiest Hotels, is a Times Cool Hotel and was also listed in Alex Polizzi's Telegraph top Hotels for under £150 feature - see our Press Page for recent press articles and coverage.
"Barnsdale Lodge is a classy, relaxing extended farmhouse near Rutland Water, three miles from Oakham. Furnished with antiques, it has a delightful courtyard garden, convivial bar and conservatory restaurant. The Lodge underplays its style." Stephen McClarence, The Times Great British Weekend
"My perfect Sunday is… waking up with all the Sunday papers, followed by a late lunch at Barnsdale Lodge on the north shore of Rutland Water." Julia Bradbury, BBC Presenter
"Barnsdale is comfortable, welcoming, and for the quality of the public rooms and the assiduousness of the service, the rooms rates are a really good deal. If you want to explore the delights of Rutland Water and surroundings, Barnsdale Lodge is, without hesitation, the place you should stay."
