Barnsdale Lodge Hotel has been in Thomas Noel's family since 1760 and formed part of the adjoining Exton Park, seat of the Earls of Gainsborough.
Formerly a farmhouse, Barnsdale Lodge was converted by Thomas in 1989. The Hotel is positioned on the North shore of Rutland Water in the heart of the beautiful, unspoilt, county of Rutland.
Rutland is under an hour from London by train, 25 minutes from Peterborough and just a few minutes from the historic towns of Oakham and Stamford. The relaxed atmosphere at Barnsdale Lodge is something that we are proud of and the team look forward to welcoming you to our very special and unique hotel.
"Put your feet up and be looked after by our wonderful kind staff. Nothing is too much trouble. That's our job, your happiness." Thomas Noel, Proprietor.
