Whether you join us for the Easter Weekend, or for a day or two over the holiday, it's the perfect time of year for a break in the countryside.

From the Friday they break up to the Sunday before they go back, children eat free before 7pm.

Join us for The Barnsdale's first ever Easter Egg Hunt! 

Hosted by Caroline from Rutland Book Nook, it's set to be full of hidden treasures and surprises.

£15 per child

Tickets include lunch for the children afterwards & a welcome glass of wine for the parents!

Within a few miles there's Burghley House, Rockingham Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor and much more.

Discover Rutland's spectacular reservoir, where you can watch the wildlife, exercise, go fishing, cruise the lake, try watersports and much more, in 4200 acres of open countryside - there's even a beach!

There's plenty to entertain the little ones, from bouncing around floating obstacle courses to getting up close with with animals ranging from birds of prey to cattle.
